The brother of recent ordained Fr. Daniel Christie had suffered a major house fire on August 3rd. They lost everything even the family car. They have received generous donations of clothing for the family but they are in need of the items listed below.
You may drop-off items at the following times and locations.
– Thursday,14th, at Holy Family Church from 8:00am – 12:00pm at the South Entrance. Janet Hamling will collect the items.
– Thursday, 14th, at ID’S Coffee House in Bay City, 2305 S. Monroe St. Bay City, at 6:30pm.
– Sunday, 9th/10 and 23rd/24th, at Holy Family Church at each mass time. Drop-off items in the North entrance. Items will be transported after Sunday’s 3:00pm mass on August 24th.

Mass will be at Holy Family at 12 noon for the patroness of our diocese. If you are not able to attend, please check the Diocesan website or Mass Times to locate a Mass time in the area you will be in on Friday.
Gerard LaFramboise is a new seminarian for the Diocese of Saginaw who has been accepted into the College Seminary Program of St. John Vianney Seminary, St. Paul, MN. Gerard lives in Hemlock with his parents, Anthony and Stephanie, and family. He will begin his College Seminary studies and formation in August 2025. Please keep Gerard and all of our seminarians in your prayers.
He is currently is one of our many altar servers that serve at our Daily and Sunday Masses.

It was a great week for the children in attendance with arts & crafts, prayer, music, speakers, and recreation. The week ended with Holy Mass celebrated by Father Coman with an indoor Eucharistic procession before a hot dog lunch. Special thank you to all those who volunteered and/or donated of their time, talents, and/or treasures to make the week a success!
